Thermo Fisher Orbitrap Fusion Lumos with ETD: high-resolution tribrid MS instrument interfaced with a EASY nLC1200 chromatography unit. System is designed for proteomics applications including analysis of PTMs, relative quantitation, intact protein characterization.

Waters Synapt G2-S HDMS: high-resolution hybrid QTOF instrument with ion mobility capabilities.  System is used predominantly for small molecule applications with emphasis on profiling in microspray mode.  Interfaced with an Acquity I-Class UPLC.  System includes an Advion TriVersa NanoMate source for ESI chip-based infusion as well as fraction collection.

ABSciex 4800 MALDI-TOF/TOF: for peptide and polymer work. Eksigent ExSpot can be used for automated MALDI plate spotting from column separations.

Waters Xevo TQ-S: tandem quadrupole instrument.  System is designed for small molecule applications with emphasis on targeted assays (MRM).  Interfaced with an Acquity H-Class UPLC.

Data Processing and Archiving

Metabolomics: XCMS, MS-DIAL and Waters MarkerLynx with Extended Statistics.

Proteomics: MASCOT, Protein Pilot, PLGS, Proteome Discover, MaxQuant.

Archiving: The VT-MSI maintains at least two separate copies of all raw data. Processed data is the responsibility of the researchers.Additional Resources
