Research:

My research focuses on plant-microbe interactions, specifically the mycobiome of native orchids.  I am interested in how the community of fungi affects plant resilience or decline in the face of climate change.  Subsequently, I plan to identify individual fungi and determine the genetic and chemical changes that they induce in the orchid host as a means to facilitate resilience or decline.
