Semester Study Abroad at the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK

A partnership between the University of Dundee and Virginia Tech provides an exciting opportunity for Biochemistry students to study for a semester at Dundee. This experience is ideal for the spring semester of junior year.

Technical University of Darmstadt INSPIRED Program (Summer)

TU Darmstadt (Germany) offers a three-week summer experiential learning opportunitytermed “INSPIRED” that is a great fit for Biochemistry majors. For two weeks, students participate in interdisciplinary groups to complete a bioengineering project. The third week is spent visiting German biotech companies and the European Space Agency.

Arcadia Abroad STEM Summer Research Projects

Arcadia Abroad (affiliated with Arcadia University) is a third-party study abroad provider that offers ~10 week summer research experiences in STEM disciplines, includingBiomolecular & Biomedical Science. Most of the placements are in the United Kingdom.
